NEBOSH General Certificate mock exams with feedback, compared
Ways to get feedback on practice answers for the NEBOSH General Certificate (not affiliated) open-book exam, and how each one marks a written answer. Every price and claim below was read on the provider’s own page on 7 November 2026; where a page doesn’t say something, we say so rather than guess.

- Our marking guides are written from NEBOSH’s published syllabus, sample paper and learner guidance, not NEBOSH’s mark scheme, and haven’t been checked by a NEBOSH examiner. The band is a likely band, not a grade. It marks our scenarios only, never writes or rewrites an answer, and sends no feedback while a real GNC1 or GIC1 sitting is open.

- Includes “Mock Exams, graded by an ex-Examiner with helpful feedback”. The page doesn’t say how many.

- £279 + VAT (usually £399 + VAT). NEBOSH assessment fees are extra: £92 plus a £29 + VAT admin fee for each assessment.
- Who can use it
- Only people already signed up for the General Certificate with another course provider, with evidence of their enrolment.

- In the role plays it gives feedback on your responses, asks follow-up questions and reviews all your responses at the end. The page doesn’t mention marks, scores or bands.

- Part of RRC’s courses; the page doesn’t list a separate price.
- Who can use it
- Listed for RRC’s National and International General Certificate courses (and some Diplomas). The page doesn’t say it can be used without an RRC course.
- Worth knowing
- It stays live during NEBOSH assessment windows but is designed to refuse recognised assessment questions, and RRC advises learners not to use it during an assessment.

- The page says its automated scoring “works by matching your answers against keywords and phrases” from the marking scheme, showing which scoring points you covered and missed, and that it is “not an official NEBOSH grade”.

What is the best NEBOSH mock exam with feedback?
A mock marked by a tutor on your own course, if it includes one: Make UK, Astutis OnlinePlus and Compassa’s Rescue Package all describe tutor or ex-examiner marking. Can I get a NEBOSH practice answer marked without a course?
Course mocks are for the course’s own learners, and Compassa’s Rescue Package is a full course for people enrolled elsewhere. HSEWatch’s free simulator scores answers by keyword matching. Marked Mock is open to anyone with an email address and marks each point against a marking guide.
Are any of these the real NEBOSH marking?
No. Only NEBOSH’s examiners mark the real paper, and none of these practice tools is an official grade. Marked Mock’s marking guides are written from NEBOSH’s published syllabus and guidance and haven’t been checked by a NEBOSH examiner.
